Tempranillo, Spain’s noble red grape, is revered for its bold fruit, savory character, and ability to age gracefully. In Paso Robles, warm days and cool nights mirror the conditions of Spain’s Rioja region, allowing Tempranillo to ripen fully while retaining its structure and elegance.
Our 2018 Tempranillo Maduro, sourced from Pomar Junction and the rolling hills of the Estrella River Valley’s Plummer Vineyard, is a rich, full-bodied wine with layers of black cherry, dried fig, and cocoa, accented by hints of leather and toasted spice. Aged for 18 months in a mix of new American and French oak barrels and matured further in bottle before release, this wine meets the aging standards of a Reserva-level Tempranillo in Spain, where classifications are based on time spent in both barrel and bottle.
The result is a wine of depth and finesse, with firm tannins and a long, savory finish. Pairs beautifully with grilled pork tenderloin, Spanish chorizo, or a smoky paella.\

We ship orders every Monday and Tuesday via UPS or Fedex Ground from San Luis Obispo, CA. Depending on the shipping destination's distance from us, orders will arrive 1-5 days after they ship, on average.
